At Carolina Mobile Notary for Seniors, we take pride in offering compassionate, professional, and dependable mobile notary services to seniors, caregivers, and families across North Carolina. Please review our terms and policies to ensure a smooth and transparent service experience.

Mobile Notary Travel Fees (Round Trip)

Based on distance from our office at 10130 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262. Flat rates include up to 2 notarizations. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all appointments and is applied toward your total service cost.

0–60 miles $1.20 per mile $50 deposit required
60–80 miles Flat Rate: $240–$270
Includes up to 2 notarizations		 $100 deposit required
80+ miles Flat Rate: $270–$310
Includes up to 2 notarizations		 $150 deposit required

Booking & Confirmation

  • Appointments are only confirmed once the signed service agreement and required deposit are received.
  • Same-day appointments: Must confirm within 45 minutes.
  • Next-day appointments: Must confirm within 2 hours.

After-Hours Fee

Appointments requested outside of regular business hours (after 5:30 PM weekdays, weekends, or holidays) will incur a $50 after-hours fee.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present valid government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms:

  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • U.S. or foreign passport
  • Military ID

Witness Services

Clients are encouraged to bring their own neutral witnesses. If unavailable, we provide:

  • In-office appointments: $45 per witness
  • Mobile appointments: $65 per witness

Witnesses must be unrelated and not listed in the document.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless canceled by Carolina Mobile Notary for Seniors.
  • Missed appointments or cancellations made less than 4 hours in advance forfeit the deposit.
  • A new deposit is required to reschedule.
  • Overpayments are refunded within 3–5 business days.
  • No refunds after services have been completed.
